SOUND OF LOVE

“There are no good speakers unless they are coupled with the space”

That sentence alone cannot sum up the 30-year-long philosophy of acoustic systemic researcher Patrick Thévenot, the founder of Prosodia. He acted as an audio mentor for CTRL ROOM, which had the privilege to be tuned and calibrated by him, with his deep knowledge of stereo sound system.

You can enjoy the stereo image of the Bora speakers. You will be surprised by how respected the dynamic range is, by the fine-tuned subwoofer Sirrocco, and by the perfect impulse response of all the systems together. The reverberation time is smooth as well, resulting in an enjoyable natural acoustic for long sessions, like trips into a unique audio experience.

MIXING WITH YOUR MIND

As the great Pierre Jacquot himself said, we are finaly in a time when there’s no real difference betwen hardware & software, when it comes to mixing, so let’s make the most of it. If you’re looking for that famous vintage Pultec tower, you’re in the wrong place.

“All in the box” forces you to be disciplined, so as not to get lost in the galaxy of adds-on & useless flourish. This spirit of sobriety keeps the focus on the music, and pulls you deep in the sound when you close your eyes. A few remote buttons later & you’re free to mix. It’s fast, efficient, as well as easy to recall effortlessly.

MIX IT OR PLAY IT

A good mix means a good track and a good sound engineer.

After 10 years of experimenting with music production & sound design, various live performance setups, and amazing experiences of learnings form the greatest, Blanche Kheira Toplet offers his expertise on your mix, and is able to advise you and give decisive pointers throughout this process.

Since he’s also a DJ, and started as a live music drummer and keyboardist, he’s got an open ear, and can appreciate all kinds of music, from classical to techno.
